How would Talat Hussain feel on being called Dileep or Shakespeare

We Pakistanis will not sleep peacefully until Babar Azam does Virat Kohli. This is what we did with Talat Hussain. First, he was made by Pakistan Television's Dilip Kumar, and if he was not satisfied, he was amused by calling him 'Shakespeare of dramatization'.

Talat Hussain has made his mark in the fields of acting and singing for more than half a century

We Pakistanis will not sleep peacefully until Babar Azam becomes Virat Kohli or Swat becomes Switzerland. This is what we have done with Talat Hussain who left us recently . First he was called 'Dilip Kumar of Pakistan Television', if not satisfied, he was amused by calling him 'Shakespeare of dramaturgy'.

Sympathy and a little exaggeration in praise at the time of death is understandable, but why didn't the brakes hit before Shakespeare and Dilip Kumar? Take care of the honor of the deceased if not your own.

Talat Sahib received training in theater arts from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and received a gold medal. He always used to talk in a nostalgic manner. He was very educated. He could talk for hours on literature, philosophy and art in private gatherings. How distressed he would have been if he saw that he was being driven away from Dilib Kumar and Shakespeare after his recent departure .

Perhaps he would feel sad that he spent more than half a century feeding art with liver blood and brain oil, but instead of highlighting his own personality and art, people are replacing him with figures who They cannot be compared.

Consolidation of emotions and expressions in the delivery of words,

enunciation like glass, complete mastery of language and its expression, these are such abilities that Talat Sahib has no equal.

About Shakespeare, we know that no great dramatist has passed away from him, but we do not know much about Talat Sahib's dramaturgical efforts. Similarly, it is written in history that Shakespeare used to act in his own plays, but what kind of actor he was, what were his strengths and weaknesses, history is completely silent about it. So then I don't understand why Talat Sahib has been associated with them.

Similarly, Dileep Sahib is an epoch-making figure in Hindi cinema. He changed the model of acting. He did not come from theater so his dialogue delivery was slow and smooth, like Talat he used to pause but he changed himself to a surprising extent according to the characters. His double role in 'Ganga Jamna' and 'Ram Aur Shyam' are fine examples of excellent acting.

There is another very fundamental

difference between Dilip Sahib and Rajkumar and Talat Sahib. Dileep Sahib was a 'method actor', so under this art he used to make not only his face but also his whole body a mirror of expressions. He could express his heart's feelings even without speaking a dialogue, an example of which is the movie 'Devdas', where he is sitting silently in the dark telling stories to himself.

Compared to Dileep, Talat Sahib used to work more with his voice, tone and delivery.

Talat Sahib is considered to be one of the finest singers of his generation, and what a generation that includes the likes of Zia Mohiuddin, Muhammad Ali and Tariq Aziz. The surprising thing is that even in this galaxy, Talat Hussain made his own distinct identity.

All four began with radio, where in the absence of a picture, lip service was everything. Clear and bright vocals made them popular and successful on the radio. There are precious stones buried in the history of radio that we could not bring to life on YouTube. I don't know if that record was lost or never existed, but it would have been a beautiful experience to listen to the radio plays and picture the character in your mind with Talat Hussain's voice.

After radio, Talat Hussain's next destination was TV. Those in the know know how prominent a role the voice plays in an actor's performance. Talat sahib came to TV with everything from radio. During the practice of singing, Talat Sahib's lips and tone became a specific template. He could never break it in the TV innings.

We speak in a slightly different way. I first heard Qazi Wajid's name in 2018, when he died. His drama 'Khoda Ki Basti' came out on Daily Motion. I was reading the novel, I was shocked when I started watching the drama. A person who has seen 'Khoda Ki Basti' cannot imagine anyone other than Qazi Wajid in the role of Raja. We do not know Qazi Wajid while watching that drama because Qazi Sahib is not there. There is only Raja. What a lively performance.

Talat Hussain's daughter Tazain Hussain gave the news of her father's death on Instagram

In the same way, in the play 'Waras', Mehboob Alam Chaudhry immersed himself in the role of Heshmat Ali so much that he could not come out of it for the rest of his life and this role became his flaw. However, in the same drama, Abid Ali was highlighted as Dilawar, but later he continued to play many different types of roles with the same quality.

How Ali Ijaz in 'Khwaja and Son', Rahat Kazmi in 'Dhoop Kinar' played memorable roles. Shafi Mohammad in 'Jungal' and Rahim Dad of Shabbir Jan in 'Jangles', Irfan Khost in 'Andhira Ajala' played the role of 'Dah Jamatan Pass, Direct Havaldar' which is still fresh in the minds. In the same drama, Jameel Fakhri got immersed in the role of SHO.

That is the point of perfection in acting. Talat Hussain's case was different. His personality is overshadowed and character is subdued. Imagine that there is hardly any role of Talat Sahib in which his personality is not present. Whether the character is a lawyer, an officer sitting in an office or anyone, they speak in the same way, from the hand movements to the mannerisms, everything remains more or less the same.

Even sitting at the dinner table at home, the style of speaking is the same as that of a lawyer standing in court. (It is a different matter that there is no bigger court for a husband than the home!)

Among actors, if one has to look for a parallel, Rajkumar is perhaps the most suitable person. Despite the obligatory looks, Rajkumar played a successful innings in Bollywood due to his voice. The best example of this is 'Pakeezah'. Kamal Amrohavi only cast him in the film so that he could speak Delhi language in Kausar and Tasneem. What Talat Sahib and Rajkumar had in common as actors was a heart touching voice.

According to Vasatullah Khan Sahib, 'The names of Marlon Brando, Laurence Oliver, Jack Lemmon, Sidney Poiter, Henry Fonda, Audrey Hebburn, Anthony Hopkins and Robert De Niro used to come to his lips when talking about world cinema. Dilip Kumar was a fan.'

The greatness of these names lies in their diversity. Talat Sahib was a type actor, to expect diversity from him is an absolute exaggeration. In fact, by making unnecessary comparisons, we are opening the door to exposing our beloved personality.

The best comment about Talat Hussain was made by Dr. Anwar Sajjad: 'Talaat Hussain is only one, no one can replace him. An imitation of Talat may be found, but no one else can become Talat Hussain.'

Therefore, we request that Talat Hussain be Talat Hussain, don't make him Dilip Kumar, Shakespeare or Marlon Brando.

Is it not enough that Talat Sahib enjoyed his acting, was seen and loved by older generations, and today millions of hearts are saddened by his departure, missing him.
